Cobra serves as a resident instructor in dancing and drumming. He started dancing professionally in 1986 and mastered the Djembé by 1989. Since then he has been a member of several prestigious dance companies including the Ballet National of Mali (National Ballets), the Ballet Domba, and the Sounkalo Coulibaly Troupe of Cote d’Ivoire. We are pleased to have “Cobra” on board, as we know performing arts students from all over the world seek after his teaching. When not dancing or drumming, Cobra can be found in his studio at the Maison des Artistes (artists’ compound) making drums for sale.
