Contact financial aid or study abroad office at your school to get answers to your questions regarding the use of financial aid funds to pay for the study-abroad experience. Depending on your school’s financial aid policy you may be able to use your Stafford Loan, PLUS loan, or other financial aid funds to pay for your study abroad. Please discuss this with the appropriate person at your school.

Maliba Tours Scholarships

To ensure that every student gets a chance to enjoy the life-changing experience of studying abroad irrespective of financial means, Maliba Tours has three needs- or merit-based scholarships.

The Boubacar A. Diallo Fund

Established in the memory of Boubacar Abdoul Diallo, a cultured man who embraced diversity in all its forms, this scholarship is for students who will enhance the diversity of the study-abroad student body. Priority is given to students who are studying public health, medicine, or biology.

Diallola Fund

This scholarship is for students enrolled in any subject areas who demonstrate a financial need or excellence in their studies.

HBCU Funds

For any student currently enrolled in Historically Black Colleges and Universities who is admitted into a Maliba Tours’ study-abroad program.

Materials Required for Scholarships:

  1. Maliba Tours Study-Abroad scholarship application (WHERE IS THIS?)
  2. Copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) - International Students, who will not have a SAR should contact Maliba Tours Study-Abroad Office.
  3. Assessment of Financial Status Form (WHERE IS THIS?)
